Hi everyone, this is not something I would usually do or even asking for help when I’m in need of it. As many of you know on the 16th March 2025, my Father Kevin, had a freak accident at home. After falling from a ladder and breaking his back, he had surgery but his spinal cord was damaged causing him to not being able to walk again

The most heartbreaking emotional rollercoaster I have ever had to witness. Seeing him so emotionally and physically hurt is something I will never ever get over and I am so proud he pulled through even when he did not want to.

It has been 7 months since it happened and he is so close to leaving the hospital with them finding him suitable accommodation for his needs that will be wheelchair accessible.

Seeing my dad, someone I love with all my heart having his life completely turned upside down, losing everything and having to start again is soul destroying and something I never ever thought I’d have to ever see him go through.

I am doing this go fund me so I can try and get him the wheelchair that he needs and deserves to help make his life as easy as possible. Also to help raise money for him to have hand controls for when he is home and can eventually sort out his licence change but that could still take some time.

If I had the money to do this for him. I’d give him the world and I wish I did but I don’t.

I hope in doing this we could together try and raise the money for him to take a couple of worries away from him. He is 65years old this month and would be the best present I could ever give him.

(Hand controls range from £600-£2000 and the electric wheelchair that he needs is £839.99)
