Hi, I'm Ame, Mitch's wife. 

Last week my family received the the call no one wants to receive, my mother-in-law has stage 4 lung cancer. 

She has welcomed me with open arms and been an amazing grandmother to our two kids, and we want nothing more than to be with her as much as possible. The problem is we are in California and she moved across the country about a year and a half ago for job opportunities and to be near her daughter.  I'm scrambling post COVID furloughs to make arrangements for my husband to see her. I've been able to purchase a plane ticket in January for him, however he will need a rental car and we just don't have the funds.  Additionally we as a family want to see her, we are hoping the chemo will buy us time,  and would like her to be able to see the kids. With your loving support we will be able to let my husband and my children spend time with my mother in law while they still can. 

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. It would mean absolutely everything to me to take this little bit of stress off my husbands shoulders.
