Helping Manpreet Deol’s Family

Hi everyone, this fundraiser is to support Manpreet Singh Deol’s family, as you all may already know, who has passed away in a horrific crash happened on Eyre Highway, Bookabie South Australia near Penong this week. His demise has left his family in mourning. He was the only son and has left his wife and a 5 year old boy behind.

Manpreet had been a very active member in the society. He had been involved in social activities like organising sports tournaments, helping people in need through donations and/or helping new students getting jobs and getting accommodation. Manpreet was a beautiful soul with a big heart who was always ready to help.

Now, when he is not around, its our turn to help his family and support them in their long run. They have been through a lot in the recent past when Manpreet’s brother in law (Hardeep Singh) had a brain stroke last year which left him paralysed. Manpreet and his wife Mandeep have been taking care of him providing him all the medical support, financial support and family support. Hardeep’s family lives with them and their son is studying here as well. Now without Manpreet, who was the main earner in the family, Mandeep is alone responsible for their day to day needs. She not only has to take care of her family, her son but also Hardeep’s family as Hardeep has been in a wheelchair since he was released from the hospital after 1 year long treatment.

So, this is to request you all out there to please donate as much as you can and help Mandeep in not only raising her son alone but also help her brother’s family. This journey is not going to be easy for Mandeep but with a little help from us would help in healing some wounds.

ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਹਫਤੇ Penong ਨੇੜੇ Eyre Highway, Bookabie South Australia 'ਤੇ ਵਾਪਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਦੌੜ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇਕਲੌਤਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ 5 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਲੜਕਾ ਛੱਡ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਮਾਜ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਖੇਡ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ, ਦਾਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨਾ। ਉਹ ਖੁਦ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਾਲੀ ਇੱਕ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਹ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਸੀ।

ਹੁਣ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੀਏ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ (ਹਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ) ਨੂੰ ਬ੍ਰੇਨ ਸਟ੍ਰੋਕ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਅਧਰੰਗ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਡਾਕਟਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ, ਆਰਥਿਕ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਹਰਦੀਪ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੇਟਾ ਵੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਹੁਣ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ, ਮਨਦੀਪ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਸਗੋਂ ਹਰਦੀਪ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਹਰਦੀਪ 1 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਲੰਬੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵ੍ਹੀਲਚੇਅਰ 'ਤੇ ਹੈ।
