Help getting our mom home

Hey y'all, a lil backstory for ya. My mom and dad planned a deserved vacation cruise that they were gonna go on Sat, Nov 30. Well, that whole plan was flipped upside down. As the day they were gonna get on the boat, my mom went to lay down and my dad joined her. He was woken up to odd noises from my mom and noticed she wasn’t breathing and had no heartbeat. He started CPR and got 911 on the phone to get her to the hospital immediately.

When they arrived, they told my dad that even getting her there was a miracle as it’s a 10% chance they even live through that. She is now on many machines working to keep her alive and stable. There was a worry of no brain activity but as of now, there is some there. We are still not out of the woods yet but we keep on praying and hoping that god can add to the list of miracles he has done. Our dad is currently in Florida with her and we will be heading down soon to see her soon and with the economy today plane tickets can get expensive so anything helps and will go to help the cards. Thank you

and a comment from my dad: GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE. FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW, JERI AND I ARE IN FT LAUDERDALE FL. Early Sunday MORNING JERI SUFFERED A CARDIAC ARREST WHILE I WAS IN THE ROOM. I DAILED 911 AND THEN I STARTED CHEST COMPRESSION UNTIL EMS ARRIVED. THEY TOOK OVER AND DID EVERTHING TO SAVE HER. THE GOT HER TO THE HOSPITAL AND FINALLY GOT A PULSE. FAST FORWARD. THE LAST 24 HOURS THEY COOLED HER BODY TO HELP HEAL THE BRAIN. THEY STARTED TO WARM HER BACK UP. THE EEG SHOWS BRAIN ACTIVITY, GREAT SIGN. SHE IS NOT AWAKE DUE TO HER MEDS. HOPEFULLY ON WEDNESDAY THEY WILL BACK OFF ON THE SADATION AND WILL SLOWLY WAKE HER UP TO GET A RESPONSE FROM HER. AFTER THAT THERE WILL BE A LONG ROAD TO RECOVERY. PLEASE PRAY FOR JERI. WE NEED HER TO COME BACK HOME.
