In the immortal words of Bob Geldof "Give us your F***ing money"

Those words were uttered live on air in 1985 to help those in need. I'm echoing it now to help a family who need a little respite from all the tough times they are experiencing. I am not here to pull on heart strings, I'm here to do anything to help a family so deserving of support. Luke left the army in January to return to his family and build a future close to home with his partner Charlie. They have 2 children between them. Unfortunately this summer Charlie received a diagnosis no one wants, and since then has been going through some tough rounds of chemotherapy. This therapy hasn't done what was hoped and things have progressed. To combat this Charlie will be undergoing some pretty invasive treatment over the next couple of months. With Luke being the sole provider and Charlie being the primary carer for two very young boys, this is becoming almost an impossible task to manage everything along the way.

Neither of them will of course admit to any of this, and I risk a stern telling off for going to these lengths. But I have never met a family so deserving, so loving and so capable. Just knowing the daily struggles they face is enough for me to do anything I can to help. Between childcare costs and getting to appointments any support will be put to good use and ultimately help a family so deserving of it. If you can give anything at all it really will go a long way. This family are so close to my heart and Luke is the brother I never wanted, I just know there are plenty of people out there who will show support to get this family through a tough and challenging time.
