Our dear friend Tara is facing every parent’s worst nightmare once again. Her sweet 10-year-old son, Asher, has been diagnosed with cancer for the second time. After bravely beating it once, Asher now begins another long and difficult road—one filled with surgeries, treatments, and countless hospital visits. He is a fighter, and we all believe in his strength to beat this again.

Tara recently moved to Florida, hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she is now thrust into a reality where she can’t work while she devotes every moment to caring for Asher and staying by his side throughout treatment. The financial strain of bills, gas for hospital trips, food, and everyday essentials is overwhelming—especially while navigating this without her village and in a new state.
