Helping Jerry Scotton replace his vehicle

Hi, my name is John Conniff and I'm trying to raise funds to help Jerry Scotton replace his vehicle. On June 15th a small tornado swept through the Scotton's neighborhood toppling two giant Cottonwood trees. Fortunately, they missed the house but they managed to fall directly on top of both family cars. The cars were totaled in the process and unfortunately neither homeowners insurance nor their car insurance will cover the damage. The Scottons live on a fixed income and and a new automobile was not something they were prepared for, not to mention the cost of having the trees and vehicles removed. Jerry lives in a fairly remote town in the mountains called Onyx and it's critical that they have a functioning vehicle.

Jerry is a renowned boat builder and carpenter and his expertise has been crucial in keeping many Sportfishing boats up and down the coast in safe, working order. The value of his time and knowledge has been beyond measure to owners and captains (myself included) in our fleet which is why I am reaching out in this time of need.
