Helping Homeless Believe
On 24th June 2024 Mia’s brother passed away. He was part of a fabulous charity called “Help Homeless Believe”. A charity which provides support to those who need it. Part of the support they provide is an outreach unit that arranges for food, water, tents, back packs, sleeping bags and weekly essentials to be distributed from a location in the city centre of Bristol.
The outreach team rely on the charity’s van to deliver the resources to the vulnerable people within our society. However, the charity’s van is now subject to a CAZ charge.
Help Homeless Believe are trying to raise money for a CAZ compliant vehicle to continue to help those in need and I (along with a team of runners) am looking to help the charity raise money to do this.
We want to help those struggling in our society, so Mia, Geoff, Julie, Carly & Kate are currently in training to complete the Bristol 10k, to raise money for those in need. If you would like to join the team, and help us to reach our goal please get in touch as your support really will be valued.
Alternatively, any donations to help us get moving would also be greatly appreciated as the work of this charity is essential as the waiting time and processing periods for emergency housing can be so long and this can often be the only assistance those most vulnerable will receive.
