This is a fundraiser to help our huge-hearted friend Henry at Army and Navy Bags float his business for a few more months until foot traffic increases and tourism returns to the city. Henry’s rent is $6500. Things are picking up but his overhead still exceeds his revenue. Several months ago one of Henry’s regular customers named Adele Thibodeaux created a fundraiser for Henry. With a giant assist from New York Nico and his audience, Adele managed to raise $60,000 to keep Henry from closing down. I want to give a huge acknowledgement to this fundraiser and everyone who donated. It is the reason that Henry survived the pandemic. But all that money has now been passed along to his landlord. And as Henry explains, he is ‘just a little bit negative.’ Life is returning to the city once again, and we just want to give Henry a small boost to get him across the finish line.
