On April 22nd, the nightmare we all fear happened. Hannah’s family’s home caught fire as a result of their next-door neighbor's grill . Thankfully, her 3 children (age 9 and twin 3-year-olds) were all at school. Hannah’s husband, Chris, was in the upstairs bedroom working and was able to get himself and their dog out, but could not find their kitty, Dolly, after she hid due to the exploding windows scaring her. After the firefighters arrived, they were able to retrieve Dolly, but the damage was already done, and they sadly had to put her down.
Hannah is the most giving, helpful, and selfless person I know, and now she is needing help. Her bedroom, along with the twins', is a total loss, and they will need to replace so many things. They currently are unsure when they will be able to return to their home to gather the small amount of things that were not affected. As a family of 5 with a dog, they will need to find a hotel or short-term rental while they sort out their next move. Anything helps at this point as they navigate next steps. Thank you
