Helping hands, It takes a village

*  Life Update from FB, Feb 3rd  * 

The devil sure is trying hard to knock us down. 

He’s in for a rude awakening. I’m a praying momma and will keep getting back up and fighting for my family and God’s promises over our lives  

I don’t know what I’m gonna take away from this season yet, but I know it’s gonna be good because God brings beauty out of ashes

As many of y’all know the end of Dec and January were pretty stressful for our household. Some of our inner circle know the depth of the stress and emotional toll we went through, and are continuing to go through, individually, as a couple and as parents.

On top of everything else that happened in Jan, I had two emergency room visits due to my high blood pressure, & continued swelling in my legs for the 2nd visit to rule in/out blood clots or preeclampsia. 

It has been a nerve racking time, and the only thing that kept me sane was God. 

Truly  

There were a few times I wanted to walk away from everything. I think I would have lost my mind and snapped with all the stressors, postpartum hormones, depression, & the death of the most wonderful, giving human being I think I’ve ever met if it weren’t for my Rock, my Heavenly Father ♥️ 

He is the keeper of my heart, mind, and body

Now I have Covid ‍♀️

But God shows up again, it’s a very mild case  

Started with what I thought was a head cold this weekend. Then Monday into Tue I started to lose my sense of smell, and did a home test, and it was positive. (My smell is already coming back )

Arabella went to her Grammy’s right away to keep her safe.  

James’ search for work has been put on hold though while we isolate for the recommended time frame and could use some more help

Hi we are Lisa and James. On Dec 27th we welcomed our baby girl Arabella into the world. I labored for over 12 hours and then needed to have a c section because she was stuck and wasn’t coming on her own.

I’m unable to work for at least 6 weeks, and James hasn’t been able to work for the past 2 weeks because he’s been taking care of me and Arabella, and taking us to doc apts. He’s a contract worker and doesn’t get any paid time off so we are asking for help to get us through January.
