In Loving Memory of Our Father, Friend, and Hero 

On Sunday (June 22nd, 2025) our family’s world shifted when my father-in-law was admitted to the hospital. We were hopeful. We were praying. We believed with everything in us that he would come back home: back to the comfort of his family, to his bed, and to the laughter and love that surrounded him every day.

   The days that followed were filled with worry, tears, and an overwhelming amount of hope. We held onto every bit of good news, no matter how small, and continued to believe that he would push through like he always had. He was strong. He was a fighter. And we were holding on to that strength for him. But as the days went on, his condition began to worsen. 

   The doctors did everything they could, and so did he. He fought with everything he had, but sometimes, even the strongest hearts need rest. This has been one of the most painful and unexpected turns our family has had to face. We never imagined that June 22nd would be the beginning of such a hard goodbye. We are heartbroken beyond words, but we are holding tight to the memories, the love, and the impact he left on all of us.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the heartbreaking news that “The Heart Of The Family” has passed away Friday (July 11, 2025) He fought so hard these past few weeks, and while our hearts hoped for more time, we know he is finally at peace. 

   The pain of losing someone so deeply cherished is indescribable. He wasn’t just a father, father-in-law, or grandfather, he was the rock of our family, the one who showed up for everyone, who made people laugh even when times were hard, and who loved with everything he had. Grief for the loss of a man we loved so dearly, and gratitude for the memories, the lessons, the love, and the kindness he gave so freely.  

   We want to thank each and every one of you who has donated, shared this page, or reached out with words of support. Your generosity has lifted us up in ways we cannot fully express. Knowing we have people standing beside us during this time of unimaginable loss brings comfort we didn’t know we’d need this deeply. 

   The funds raised will now be used to help give him the beautiful and dignified farewell he deserves, and to help support the family as we take time to grieve and adjust to life without him. His absence is already felt in every quiet moment, every empty chair, every reminder of the love he gave so freely.
