Helping Hands for Rick Caldwell Strokes Recovery
Donation protected
Hi my name is Gloria and I am Rick Caldwell's wife. I am asking to support our loved one in need. I have too much pride and I am a very strong woman who do what ever it takes on my own. I am asking for assistance from Rick's family and friends. I am also asking from my family and friends as well. This is what happened to my dear husband: On 07/26/23, my husband was taking to emergency due to constant dizziness and unable to stay balance while walking. After hours in the emergency area it was founded that he had a stroke in the brain and there was signs of dry blood. He was hospitalized to control his blood pressure of over 200. After two days in the hospital. He woke up not knowing where he was. He had tests run and found out that another stroke has enter his brain but this time it was clots. Since the strokes he has not been able to swallow and his food has to be purify. He does not remember to use utensils so the staff or myself feed him. His medication are in liquid forms and it goes into his g-tube. He can not walk and he can't express his needs and wants. He is unable to make conversation and he mostly stares and stays quite. He does not know who I am or his daughter at times. I am unable to take care of him since I am already taking care of our 9 year old daughter and my mother. I need to be a conservator to assist with my husband's medical and financial needs and it takes time and money to be a conservator. I have planned to retired early to take care of my family and make the best of it with the money I will get from my pension. Until I can get all of Rick's needs in order and stable. Then I can get back on my feet and work again.
Any donation whether small or large is greatly appreciated and it would be use to support Rick and his family during these difficult times.
