Our story begins with one human, Tina Trama-Mayol, who was feeling a deep calling 10 years ago to help others in need. As such, she found opportunities within her community to help others, and began calling on others for assistance. Her one small idea but huge heart, grew into a committee of loving, giving people who are aligned with the same mission in helping those who go without. We have experienced the kindness and generosity over the years of others wanting to help in any which way, which has now allowed us to come together and form something more official to continue growing our mission in ensuring no one goes unfed. For 5 years now, in collaboration with our community grocer, with just a $25 donation, we have been able to provide a full turkey dinner with potatoes, vegetables and dessert for each family. Last year, with your generosity, we were able to also provide hot cooked meals at various locations across the GTA.
