Helping Hands and Loving Hearts for Jamie
Donation protected
On January 5th, 2022, Jamie Burke-Butler, 31 years young, tragically and unexpectedly lost her life, leaving behind three beautiful young children, Elizabeth, Brendan and Daniel as well as her husband, Brendan.. To say their lives will never be the same is an understatement. To say that Jamie was the center of their lives is an even bigger understatement. Jamie was the "mom of all moms". If there was a classroom sign up sheet, Jamie was on it. If a field trip needed a parent chaperone, Jamie was there. Troop leader? Of course she was. Spirit week at school? Jamie always remembered. I can't imagine her children ever had a owie that she didn't kiss or a tear that she didn't wipe and I can only begin to imagine the gaping hole that now lies within the hearts of each of her three young children and her husband as they are forced to begin the rest of their earthly lives without her.
Every one of us comes across devastation if not on a daily basis then on a weekly basis. Whether it be on the news from across the world or God forbid, from within our own homes, I can promise you this, that no matter what the tragedy, one thing will always remain a constant among them all - Helping Hands and Loving Hearts are called to serve when tragedy strikes.
If you feel called to serve Jamie's family in a financial capacity, this fundraiser will benefit her husband and 3 children. If you don't have the financial means to serve Jamie's family through this fundraiser but you still feel called to serve, then please, serve them in any way you are able. Say a prayer, send a card, put your name on that parent volunteer form, or at the very least, hug your momma, hug your babies and thank God you were given another day to do just that.
Thank you to all of the Helping Hands and Loving Hearts. The world needs more of you.
