Helping hand in St Maarten

Hi, my name is Lucie Benjamin,

I live in south Florida, and my husband and I love to go to St Maarten as often as possible.

Last year we met with three teachers from St. Regina Primary School it called Stichting EGO after school program. We don't have children ourselves, but we love to help other countries to give back by delivering what is needed at the time.

We started to talk about the kids and their school and how they don't have enough games and art supplies for after-school education. What I mean by that is that they learn how to be a leader by being the captain of a team and team players; to get them to have more assurance and learn crafts and art to open their horizons. We want to give them a diverse choice of learning anything they want and guide them through their own journey.

So we would like to raise $500 for them. We welcome any amount; it will all add up, no matter how small. I will go to art stores and other stores to buy books, art supplies and games to add to the collection they have at the school.We will be going to St Maarten on  November 5th .

I will post pictures of the items bought and take a shot at the school.
