Helping Hand for Hans
Donation protected
For those of us in the community who benefited from Hans’ cheeky smile at the St Elizabeths crossing on Cracknell Road, might be our time to help him back.
He had a stroke late last year and is unable to work, which is very sad! His wife Carole (also was a “lollipop lady”) has also had to give up work and become his carer.
Hans suffered a massive stroke on the left side of his brain. He was not able to walk or talk, which as we know is not Hans as he always had a word to the little ones when he safely walked them across the road.
Through much dedicated support from his wife Carole and family, Hans is making a good recovery but there is still a way to go. As they have both assisted us and our families with a bright smile, friendly wave or playful fun with our little ones, it is now they need our help to assist in payment for care and support.
As with all things nothing else matters but your family, friends and community and as they have been a part of ours, let us be a part of theirs and show our thanks and appreciation.
Both Hans and Carole miss the kids every day and send their love to all the little ones and hope to see them soon.
Please donate and help one of our own in this time.
