I have created this fundraiser in loving memory of Ms. Shirley, CEO of nonprofit Beauty 2 the Streetz. A woman whose kindness, warmth, and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone around her. As I hope this will help carry on her spirit.

In honour of her passing, I want to turn my grief and helplessness at the state of the world into action by giving back to my community of Hamilton, in the same way she gave back to hers. Specifically to our neighbours who are unhoused and facing hardship.

Hamilton has a growing number of individuals struggling without stable housing, access to regular meals, warm clothing, and basic necessities. The funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward providing essential support such as:

Hot meals and food supplies

Hygiene kits and personal care items

Warm clothing, blankets, and seasonal essentials

Direct aid distributed with dignity and compassion (no filming).

I will be using my own money towards this cause to get started. And every dollar raised goes directly to people in need. I plan to use ALL proceeds locally and thoughtfully, to create care packages and hand out hot meals to those in need. With the goal of meeting people where they are and offering real, immediate help in my communities. If successful, I'm also aiming to make this an ongoing monthly project.

Ms. Shirley believed in showing up for others, even in small ways and this is my way of continuing that legacy. Whether you’re able to donate money, time, hygiene products / winter gear, share this fundraiser, or keep this cause in your thoughts, your support means more than words can express.
