Helping my family flee Gaza

Death has always been so close that the author of this appeal could become a martyr at any moment. This family of seven decided to leave and flee, trying to survive the massacres that threaten to take one or all of their lives, after the war had robbed them of their dreams, warm memories, and everything they owned. The life of this family was turned upside down forever on October 7th, as they were displaced five times to five different places, forced to abandon their happy lives and memories behind.

The mother, suffering from hypertension without access to any treatment now, has suffered from severe depression for many years. Yet, her daughters and son were her hope in life, investing all she had in them. Their happiness was her happiness, but now she sees them suffering in the cursed war that has stolen their dreams and everything they owned just as they were starting to succeed, dreams they had since childhood. The father, suffering from hypertension and diabetes, recently underwent a cardiac catheterization procedure after investing all their money in their children's education to achieve the dreams they longed for. Now, they stand helpless, unable to afford the travel expenses for their escape, as the cost is around ten thousand dollars per person in these circumstances.

Tala, the qanun player, was not allowed by the war to complete her studies in software engineering. Aspiring to be a promising engineer and having enrolled in many training courses, Tala lost her university friends to the many massacres committed by the enemy daily. She suffered fractures in her left foot needing treatment and follow-up, but due to the war and the overcrowding of hospitals, she is unable to continue her treatment. The qanun was Tala's hope in life and a means to relieve psychological pressures, but the war snatched her musical instrument after destroying the music institute she had been attending for 12 years.

Lana, the voice-over artist and violinist, lost most of her school friends and teachers in the war. Lana's artistic paintings, expressing life and hope, participated in many exhibitions but have now turned to ashes.

Hamoud, the young child of seven years, has experienced three wars. His ball is all he owns, carrying it with him every time he is displaced to another place. He lost his school, his friends, and the playground where he learned to play ball. All he has left is his ball.

قررت هذه العائلة المكونة من ٧ أفراد أن تغادر وتهرب محاولة النجاة من هذه المجازر التي تهددها بفقدان أحد افرادها او جميعهم بعدما أفقدتهم الحرب أحلامهم وذكرياتهم الدافئة وكل ما يملكون .

انقلبت حياة هذه العائلة في السابع من اكتوبر رأساً على عقب الى الأبد ، نزحت العائلة خمس مرات وخمسة أماكن وأجبرت على التخلي وترك حياتها السعيدة وذكرياتهم خلفهم

الأم مريضة ضغط لا تجد أي نوع علاج الآن وعانت على مدار سنوات طويلة من الاكتئاب الحاد ولكن كانت بناتها وابنها هم أملها في الحياة ووضعت فيهم كل ما تملك ، كانت سعادتهم هي سعادتها ، ولكنها الآن تراهم متألمين ويعانون في الحرب الملعونة التي سلبت منهم أحلامهم وكل ما يملكون بعدما خطو أولى خطوات نجاحهم التي كانوا يحلمون بها منذ الصغر

الأب مريض ضغط وسكري وانتهى حديثاً من عملية القسطرة القلبية بعدما وضع كل ما يملك من ماله هو وزوجته من اجل تعليم أبنائهم وايصالهم لأحلامهم التي طالما كانوا يحلمون بها والآن يقفوا عاجزين لا يملكون أي مال يمكنهم من السفر والنجاة بأبنائهم وذلك لأن مبالغ السفر خيالية في هذه الظروف وهي ما يقارب العشرة الاف دولار للفرد الواحد

تالا عازفة القانون ، التي لم تسمح لها الحرب باستكمال دراستها في مجال هندسة البرمجيات ، بعدما كانت تطمح لأن تكون مهندسة واعدة والتحقت بالعديد من الدورات التدريبية ، فقدت تالا زميلاتها في الجامعة بعدما تم ارتكاب المجازر العديدة التي لا يزال العدو يرتكبها كل يوم وكل لحظة

اصيبت تالا بكسور في قدمها اليسرى وتحتاج للعلاج والمتابعة لكنها بسبب الحرب واكتظاظ المستشفيات لا تسيطع متابعة علاجها

كانت آلة القانون أمل تالا في الحياة ووسيلة تفريغ للضغوطات النفسية ولكن الحرب خطفت آلتها الموسيقية بعدما دمرت معهد الموسيقى الذي كانت ملتحقة به منذ ١٢ عام

أما الرسامة لانا المعلقة الصوتية عازفة الكمان ، كانت لديها صديقاتها ومعلماتها في المدرسة التي فقدت معظمهم في الحرب ، شاركت لوحات لانا الفنية التي كانت تعبر عن الحياة والأمل في العديد من المعارض ولكنها تحولت الآن الى رماد

حمود الطفل الصغير الذي يبلغ السبع سنوات ، عاصر ثلاث حروب ، كرته هي كل ما يملك والتي يحملها معه في كل مرة ينزح فيها لمكان آخر ، خسر مدرسته وفقد اصدقاءه والملعب الذي تعلم فيه لعب الكرة

لم يبقى معه سوى الكرة
