Helping Families Of Chateau Apartments Fire

Donation protected

Fire broke out an an apartment complex on Mayhew Road Saturday afternoon.

At about 1:49 p.m., the fire was reported at Cumberland Chateau Apartments, 140 Mayhew Road. Mayhew is along the south bank of the river in Montgomery County near the Highway 48/13 bridge.

The blaze destroyed eight apartments, and eight families have been displaced, which affects between 18 and 20 people.

The purpose of this fundraiser it to try and assist these families the best we can while they deal with the stress of trying to rebuild their entire lives that were lost during this fire.

Parents lost cherished memories, children lost toys, clothes and a roof over their head, and even family pets were lost. We want to help these individuals the best we can, give them peace of mind and let them have just a little less stress on their shoulders while they try and recover.

Even if you can spare a dollar it would go a long way to help those who have lost literally everything.
