Hi my name is Destany.

I never thought I’d be in a position where people would ask me to create a GoFundMe — but after sharing my story, thousands of you told me I don’t have to do this alone, and I’m finally allowing myself to receive support.

I’m a mom, a woman, and someone who has survived more than most people will ever know and that I pray no one ever has to go through.

I grew up in survival mode — raised in a single-parent household, stepping into responsibilities far too young, navigating life without a father, and carrying trauma that started in childhood. As I got older, I survived abusive relationships, financial instability, and heartbreak that would’ve broken most people.

I’ve lost three baby boys.

I’ve buried dreams while still having to show up every single day.

I’ve kept going even when life kept taking.

And still — I’ve tried to turn my pain into purpose.

Recently, I shared my story online, not expecting it to reach anyone — but it reached millions. My inbox filled with women telling me “Your story sounds like mine” and “Thank you for saying what I’ve been afraid to say.”

That’s when people started telling me:

“Let us help you.”

So here I am — humbly, honestly, and without shame.
