Helping Dad Mitigate Tragedy For Our Son

Tragically, our son lost his mother.

I was advised by amazing people, to create this, so that they could help us with what is coming. We do not know, nor do I understand everything that it will entail, but I am going to do whatever it takes and this is a small start.

Our son recently lost his mother, and now we have to step forward and face the storm. I am trying to take the steps necessary so that we can do so, even though we don’t really know what that path will look like.

Matthew recently turned 6 years old, and he will now have to grow up with limited memories and pictures, to help keep her alive in his heart.

The evening that we learned of his loss, I accidentally broke my hand and will be undergoing surgery in a few days, so I will be unable to work for a while as well.

I really do not like asking for anything, because I am the person that always tries to offer my self to help others, so this is extremely hard, but there is nothing that I will not do, to help my son have the best life and opportunities possible.

I know that we are all living in extremely difficult times, and everyone is feeling the struggles of our time.

I completely understand if you do not have the ability to donate to this, but we would greatly appreciate any love, prayers or moral support for our son and I.

Just know that Matthew will need things that I will never truly have to offer, like a simple hug or snuggle from his mother, ever again. This breaks my heart in ways that I can’t begin to elaborate on.

I am always open to any advice, criticisms or recommendations that can possibly help me to step up and be better.
