Hello, My name is Ashley Hohensee Boedeker, sister to Crystal Hohensee Cedillo. On December 16th I received the panic call that Crystals and Epi’s house had caught fire. Once the news spread, everyone has reached out trying to offer help. It’s amazing the support people are offering these two. The thing is, they are staying in the camper with limited space. Donations sound great but there is no place to store anything. Everything in the house will have to be thrown away. We will salvage what we can but the smoke damage is pretty significant. My sisters beautiful clothes are all completely destroyed, as they were closest to where the fire started. My sister is not used to being helped. She is and has always been the helper. She lives a quiet and private life. It’s hard for her to accept help. However, it’s going to be a long road, they are going to need all new everything, it’s just not all going to happen now. If you would like to donate please feel free. All monies will be given to her and Epifanio to use as they need and see fit in the upcoming weeks/months as they find a new normal. There is so much work that will need to happen. I only set this up for those wanting to donate and help. Like I mentioned, there’s no place to store extra items. They have had to down size to live out of their camper.
