Chanie is a devoted single mum to two wonderful children. Her youngest, Sebastian, now 17 months, was born with multiple rare heart conditions, and over the past year, their lives have been filled with hospital stays, surgeries, and recovery. Tragically, he also suffered a significant cardiac arrest, which has left him with additional medical challenges. 

Chanie had planned to return to work in January, but after a major surgery didn’t go as planned, Sebastian spent a long time in intensive care and was left in a fragile state. He now requires close medical care at home, including constant monitoring, which means he’s currently unable to attend nursery. Because of this, Chanie has had to put work on hold so she can care for him full-time. 

Chanie has always worked hard to provide for her family, but this unexpected situation has placed an immense financial strain on her. We’re asking for support to help cover essential costs—keeping a stable home for her children and easing the burden of bills—so she can focus on what truly matters: Sebastian’s health and well-being.
