Our family is reaching out to the community that Bob Gordon has spent most of his life serving and being participating in.

As many of you know, Bob has been a cornerstone of the Peninsula for decades. Whether you know him as the President of Peninsula Minor Hockey, the coach who stood behind the bench for countless local kids, or the "coach of coaches" who shaped how the game is played today, Bob’s impact on our community is immeasurable. When he wasn't at the rink, he was beautifying our city, spending his career for the City of Victoria.

Now, Bob is facing a new and difficult season. He has recently been diagnosed with early-stage dementia.

While his spirit remains strong, the reality of this diagnosis means he requires specialized support to stay safe and mobile. To ensure Bob has the quality of life he deserves, we are raising funds to help cover the costs of:

In-Home Care: Professional support to assist Bob with daily needs while he remains in familiar surroundings.

A Mobility Scooter: To help Bob maintain his independence and stay active within the community he loves.

Permanent Care Transition: Helping our family navigate the significant costs associated with securing a spot in a permanent memory care facility.

Bob spent his life building teams, teaching resilience, and caring for the land we live on. Now, it’s our turn to be on his team.
