Hi Friends,

This GoFundMe is to help our senior citizen Aunt Tina get back on her feet. Throughout 2021 and most of 2022 Tina was working and living with her previous employer, but after that job contract ended she was faced with housing insecurity and has been on the teetering edge of homelessness ever since.

For the last six months she has been working diligently with her case manager at the Salvation Army to get placed in an apartment as part of their "rapid rehousing" program, and the good news is she's moving into her new apartment January 30th! As part of the program, the Salvation Army will furnish her apartment with the essentials like a bed, sofa, dishes, pots, etc. but no food or toiletries.

Tina has a solid and reliable new job lined up that will be starting in early February, but like all jobs, she won't be paid her first paycheck for 2-3 weeks so this GoFundMe is a way to help her transition into her new space and make sure she has all the essentials like food, toiletries, OTC medicines, laundry detergent, and all the other "day to day" supplies that she needs for everyday life.
