Helping Ashley, Alayna, and baby AJ

Richard Jay DiLaurenzo, also known as Ricky, passed away suddenly from an unexpected heart attack on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. He was 26 years old. Ricky had an exceptional work ethic and worked throughout his life as a landscaper and a personal trainer. He also worked as a safety training and defense instructor to help people protect themselves in dangerous situations. He enjoyed a wide range of interests in his spare time that included history, politics, martial arts, and cooking.

Ricky leaves behind his loving fiancé Ashley Jaramillio, who he planned to propose to in December formally. His children, Alayna (age 9) and Adam J, also called AJ (7 months), are also survived. Before his untimely death, Ricky was the primary financial provider, while his fiancé was raising their two young children and studying towards her graduate degree. Now, all of this has changed.

This fundraiser has been designed to honor Ricky's legacy and assist Ashley, Alayna, and AJ with living expenses, food, daycare costs, and monthly expenses. Ashley currently works and attends classes in New Jersey, commuting almost daily from Pennsylvania to support her small family. Ashley leaves AJ at daycare, a costly expense. After feeding and putting their children to bed, when home in the evening, Ashley continues to study towards her graduate courses. Ashley wants to provide for their children the best she can while honoring Ricky's legacy but needs help to continue this support. The loss of Ricky has placed a void in their lives.
