Ashenafi Shewarkab was born in Addis Zemen Gondar. Survived by 3 sisters, mom and dad. He taught high school history in Agew Midir preparatory school.
He was targeted by Facist TPLF for being Amahara and Advocating for Amhara people.
He was arrested and indicted for terrorism and was sentenced to 5 years in jail. He has been in weyanes torture chamber since July 2015 until he was killed in January 2016 via injection.
Ashenafi was educated, courageous and dedicated person, Even while he was in jail he never stopped fighting the genocide of Amhara people.
We are asking you to donate all you can to help his 3 sisters and parents get back on their feet.
Ashenafi died fighting the injustice being carried out by the current Tigrayan regime TPLF. Ashenafi was an Amhara worrier for us but for his family he was a son and a brother as well.
