Helping an Unsheltered Colony stay warm

I'm Curt. A few years ago I was homeless. During the time I rebuilt my life I converted a shed to a tiny house and I wrote and illustrated a children's book called Bearly There. I have a soft spot for those struggling to get back to their feet. This campaign is to help an unsheltered colony of about 50 people get sleeping bags and tents to make it through the winter. The local government has decided NOT to open the warming station for the season leaving an Unsheltered Colony of almost 50 people in dire need. While several locals are doing what they can, the need exceeds the means. I've begun working with a restoration project that will provide shelter later but that doesn't help right now. I found discounted lots of sleeping bags and tents and with your loving help we can get these folks through the winter and closer to getting back on their feet. The sleeping bags are 10/$110.00 and 3 person tents are $30.00 leaving the rest to go towards blankets and personal heating supplies like blankets and hats. We are working on helping with their laundry as well since the local church can only do so much on their own. If you can help and want to help, please consider helping. We can do a lot for these folks who don't have anywhere else to turn.
