Helping An Elderly Friend in Need

In August of 2019 the Palm RV staff had the pleasure of meeting Toby Holland. Toby came into our dealership in desperate need of help. She had been living in a rotted-out trailer that had been irrevocably damaged by hurricane Irma. The trailer had water damage so bad that several parts of the floor were completely rotted and unwalkable. After months of applying for help and not receiving any she came to Palm RV to see if there was any way we could help her. When Toby’s story was brought to my attention, I knew my wife Anne and I should help Toby. We picked out a nice 36 foot pre-owned fifth wheel trailer to give her, and several of our employees volunteered to deliver and set up the trailer at her park. Toby was extremely gracious and overwhelmed by the kindness of the Palm RV staff and we have remained in touch ever since.

As of next month, the RV park where Toby is living will be raising her lot rent making it impossible for Toby to purchase basic essentials and to make ends meet. Toby is truly a wonderful person and desperately needs financial assistance. Any donation at all to help Toby would be a blessing and be greatly appreciated.
