Helping Amigos of Baltimore County

Dear  Amigos Friends,

Thank you for everyone that donated so far. Thanks to you, we helped around 5000 families. Please read the Baltimore Sun article that covered all of our efforts. This was thanks to you!  

This fundraiser is for the New Americans that do not qualify for the stimulus package because of their current immigration status. Please read this CNN article that debates this issue.

During this Coronaviurs crisis, we all have to help each other out. The good news is that some of us will receive financial assistance through the stimulus package but unfortunately, it exempts a vulnerable population.  There are families in Baltimore County that are not eligible for this benefit because of their immigration status. These may be your neighbors, students, parents, and elderly folks in your community. This fundraiser is for them. Please donate what you can. The money we raise will be used to buy food and essential items that will be distributed during our food drives in Baltimore County.  All this information and more will be on the Amigos of Baltimore County Facebook page so please stay tuned.
