Helping a Ukrainian Family come to Canada

Hi my name is Erin Merry and I have the privilege to be part of an amazing community in Kingston Ontario. Balsam Grove is a compassionate neighbourhood, that has come together to sponsor a Ukrainian mother and daughter who are fleeing the war.  This family will be hosted by one of our neighbourhood members.  We are in constant communication with the family who are making their way out of the war torn country through Romania.

Our group are fundraising to pay for their flights, provide housing, healthcare, food and household necessities to start life over in Canada.  We hope to help them get a job and an apartment when they are ready. They intend to make Kingston their new home and if all goes well, their husband/dad will join them.  Any donation would be gratefully accepted and will go directly to this family.  Thank you for your support.
