Over the last ten years as a teacher I’ve seen so many young people in unfortunate situations. It saddens me that many times these young people are never given the small break needed to follow a path for a brighter future. Instead, so often they continue the path they saw their parents take. When parents don’t step up, sometimes the community has to. This young man that I’m fundraising for is a senior in high school and currently homeless. Given a chance he will go far! He needs means to get transportation so that he can work to help support himself. Not seeking a new and trendy vehicle but something to get him from point A to point B. Anything helps! Would love to see this young man become successful and create a new course for himself and I believe he can with a little help.
