Helping a single mom get her job back!

Happy Holidays,
The School district our kids attend, DC West, had an adopt a family program this year. On Wednesday we got a call from the school informing us there was a Mom and 3 kids that needed help this Christmas. We went shopping and got all the gifts wrapped and to the school within 48 hours. During this process we knew their car was in the shop getting a bid on repairs. We thought it would be wonderful to get their family car fixed and donate gifts for their 3 children.
After talking to the body shop the repairs are well over $6000 and the car will not be worth getting fixed. So, we have a mom is already going through hard times and has no transportation to work. To our understanding her job had to temporarily let her go because she didn’t have transportation but, is willing to rehire her once her car situation was handled.
That is the purpose of this Go Fund Me. We thought if we shared this on our social media, we could potentially raise enough money to help this mom either purchase, or make a down payment on a car.
Once we reach our goal, we will personally deliver the funds to Gregg Young, with Gregg Young Auto Group, to go towards the purchase of her car. In the unfortunate incident that we don’t raise enough money, we will take what was raised and purchase Walmart gift cards for the family.
