Life can change in an instant, and that’s exactly what has happened to a dear friend of ours. Since June, he has been unable to work due to serious problems with his spine. He has a 7mm herniated disc at L1-L2 with a partially calcified synovial cyst, along with a 5mm herniated disc at L2-L3. He is also dealing with severe spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease. The cyst is pressing against his spinal cord and has caused bruising, making surgery necessary.

As a hardworking mechanic, he has always taken pride in providing for his family through honest, hard work. He is also a veteran who has served our country, and anyone who knows him knows that helping others has always been a part of who he is.

Now, with his wife carrying the weight of being the family’s only source of income while he awaits surgery and faces several months of recovery, they are doing everything they can to make ends meet during this incredibly difficult season and everything that lies ahead.

If you’ve ever known him, you know he is the type of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone else. Today, he is the one who needs a helping hand. Every prayer, share, donation, and word of encouragement means more than you can imagine as he focuses on healing and getting back to doing what he loves most: supporting his family.

Please keep him and his family in your prayers during this challenging journey. Thank you for helping lighten the burden and reminding them they are not walking through this alone.
