On behalf of my fiancé’s Memaw, we are asking for help after a tragedy no family should ever have to face. She lost both her son and her 3-month-old great-grandbaby in a heartbreaking and unexpected attack. The pain of losing two loved ones at once is something words can’t fully describe.

To make things even harder, the family home was taken away shortly after the tragedy. They lost not only two precious lives, but also their home, their belongings, and their sense of security — all within hours. Memaw is now trying to care for the six remaining children, who suddenly have no clothes, no beds, and nowhere to go.

Her son did not have life insurance, leaving the family with the overwhelming burden of funeral expenses on top of everything else they are trying to piece together.

We are asking for help to support this family through the most painful chapter of their lives. Funds will go toward:

• Funeral and memorial expenses

• Clothing and essentials for the six children

• Temporary housing and basic needs

• Helping Memaw rebuild a safe and stable environment for the kids
