This go fund me page has been created to support my close friends Lynn, Steve and their three children following a devastating house fire at there family home in Worthing, in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Lyn and Steve would like to thank everyone for their generosity and kindness,

The family are all safe, One of there children has now been discharged to out patients and there other child remains in hospital at East Grinstead burns unit.

The funds will go directly to Paula Keegan, Lyn’s sister to help manage what they need, Lyn and Steve are at the hospital everyday to support their daughter, the family are helping with the other children with emotional support.

The family have just got temporary housing whilst they decide what best to do next.

At the moment their priority is ensuring their children are ok, and coming to terms with loss of all their belongings, as you know you cannot replace sentimental things or pictures they have but they can begin to rebuild their home thanks to everyone generosity.

Lynn and Steve are now facing an unimaginable period of grief alongside the very real and immediate practical reality of having absolutely nothing left.

this fund has been created to help support the family with the practical needs they are facing now, and months to come. These proceeds will go towards emergency accommodation, clothing and essentials, time and away from work and the many unexpected costs that arise during a period like this. The family are currently split up with the children and one of the parents being located in different specialist hospitals, with significant injuries. Steve will be travelling from Worthing, to Bristol, to East Grinstead and Brighton where the children and Lynn are located.

the important factor at the moment is getting through each day without the added pressure of finances. Any contribution to this GoFund me page, no matter how small will go a long, long way and be greatly appreciated! If you are unable to donate, sharing the page to friends, and family will also go a long way, and make a huge difference. The funds will be given directly to the family for their immediate and ongoing needs.
