Helping a family out in time of need due to sickle cell

Hello, my name is Vershonda, and I am raising money for me and my kids. A lot of people don’t know, but I am a single mother of two beautiful kids who have full-born sickle cell SS, which is a rare blood disease. They have the severe form. My kids go in and out of the hospital, which causes me to lose income, and then I'm playing catch-up. My son, who is 5, had his spleen taken out at 3 due to his ongoing hospital visits, and my daughter, Ivelisse, had her gallbladder taken out at 9.

My kids are everything to me, so when they go through their sickle crisis, it hurts me because there is nothing I can do but be there for them and try to make them comfortable. When they are in pain, it gets so bad that when they are in the hospital, they are on morphine for the pain. I don’t wish this on anyone in the world because it is a very hard pill to swallow.

My family told me that I should do this GoFundMe and see what people can help out with because a little goes a long way. If you ask anyone I know, I always try to give what I can. I work in the nursing field as a CNA, taking care of the elderly, and sometimes I have to go to work with a big smile on my face to keep from crying about what I go through at home.

Yes, I'm just on here hoping someone can help us out due to the fact that she has been in the hospital now on and off for two weeks, and we are still here trying to get her pain level down. My neighbors are helping me watch my son while I am at the hospital.
