Project Time Machine: Help Rebuild 'DAVID 2.0'

UPDATE: We have met the minimum goal and funds are on their way!!!!!!!!!! My name is David Burroughs II ("DAVID 2.0" to some), a father, a creative, and a personal coach. If you're reading this, chances are that you know these things about me already. But what you may not know is that over the last couple of years, I've endured some pretty drastic changes, including the loss of my mortgage job, divorce, and moving in with family to "reset" my life. Most recently though, I lost the use of my car. As of October, my beloved Scion has been rendered out-of-commission, after a phantom oil leak seized up the engine. This is a MAJOR problem for me because, unfortunately, a lost job and dissolved marriage does not mean that the bills stop. I started driving gigs for DoorDash and Lyft last year to sustain myself financially, around a pretty crazy schedule. Not having wheels is obviously a HUGE loss, as I am left borrowing cars and catching rides wherever I can. Ultimately though, there is no workability when it comes to taking care of my children's transportation to and from school, as well as generating an income for myself. I need to transform this situation IMMEDIATELY. So, I'm reaching out for help. I am requesting a donation, of any amount (ex. $20, $200, ANYTHING!), to help cover the cost of a used engine and installation to get me back on the road to providing. My family and I have located a compatible part and gotten an estimate of $2500 to cover all of the aforementioned costs (including a limited warranty)! To be clear, I have never done a GoFundMe before, and I don't have a ton of Facebook friends on my current account to share this with, so I really need Love on this one. I've given so much of myself over the years and, sadly, have not made a habit of asking for help when it was desperately needed. As a father and an entrepreneur on the mend, I didn't want to be seen as someone who didn't have his stuff together. But I guess life happens to everyone. And with what I've been through over these last two years, I don't have much else to lose.
