Hello! I'm Chi-Lan, a third year (soon to be fourth!) dental student at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C.  This summer (July 18-25)  I will be joining the Jamaica Dental Mission  to provide dental care to underserved communities in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Jamaica Dental Mission was established about 15 years ago by Dr. Dwight McLeod, a graduate of HUCD who grew up in Montego Bay. I am incredibly excited to be joining JDM in their 15th year! As a whole, we will provide hundreds of cleanings, extractions, and restorations  to children and adults in three different clinics throughout the week-long mission.  This mission trip will be my first dental mission trip -- it is an amazing opportunity to give to those in need while simultaneously learning about a culture and broadening my dental experiences.  Any and all funds raised will go toward airfare, lodging, and food. Please help me help others and consider funding this cause!
