We are so excited to announce that we are starting the process of adopting a baby!!

Adoption has been on our minds a lot this past year, as Brittany has been in and out of remission due to ulcerative colitis. In order to move forward with creating our family, we have decided that adoption is what we are destined for. 

We know we were meant to be parents because we both have a passion and love for children! We are both educators, Brittany is a 6th grade special ed teacher and Matt works with Israel education in middle schools. We know we have made an impact on our students and communities and now we are reaching out to you to help us start our family. 

We have spent the past few months educating ourselves, learning everything we possibly can about the adoption process. It is definitely a wonderful journey filled with ups and downs, but it ends with the greatest gift of all, our very own child and family. However, it is a very expensive process.

We have learned that there are many costs involved including getting an approved home study, agency fees, lawyer fees, travel costs and more. The agencies have told us to expect the entire process to cost us at least $50-$60k. As we hope to start this process as soon as possible, we have decided to turn to you, our friends, families and communities for help. We cannot thank you enough. 

Many of you have watched us grow from our childhood, to the time we met, to our wedding, to purchasing our first home...all leading up to this exciting moment!! We love and appreciate all of you and we can't wait to tell our child about the amazing community who helped make our family a reality. We truly can't thank you enough.
