Help Brian Doc Fight Lewy Body Dementia

Our Brother, Brian Dougherty, has been struggling with health issues over the past several months and finally after many tests and doctor appointments, his neurologist gave him the devastating diagnosis of “Dementia with Lewy bodies”, aka Lewy Body Dementia. Brian just recently turned 54.
His symptoms recently progressed to where he can no longer drive or work. As the Sole Provider for his wife, Amy, and 2 young children, Liam (13) who has special needs and Aislynn (11), this is quite a blow both emotionally and financially.
He has applied for SSDI but that process can be long. We setup up this Go Fund Me Campaign as a way to help provide some immediate financial relief with monthly expenses for Brian and his family at least until the disability kicks in. Since we are unsure as to how long it will take for that to happen we are starting this Campaign with a goal of $12,000. This should help with their expenses for approximately 6 months. We may need to adjust in the future if SSDI takes longer.
Anything you can do to help and no amount is too small, would be very much appreciated.
