Help Baby Misk and her Family in Gaza

“My name is Misk, and I was born prematurely in Gaza, Palestine, on April 20, 2024. My mother underwent a C-section without anaesthesia or painkillers at Al Awda Hospital, surrounded by the sounds of violent bombing and power outages.

The hospital was bombed while I entered this world. Had it not been for God’s mercy, my mother and I would have been gone from this world. ✨

Just two days after my birth, we awoke to terrifying explosions and fled our house, which was ultimately destroyed. I found myself homeless before having a chance to get an actual home.

At only 14 days old, we were displaced again to escape death after a bloody night of indiscriminate bombing, violent siege, and tank bullets. I cried a lot in my mother’s arms as she ran long distances to save me.

Now we live in a small tent, exposed to extreme temperatures, harmful insects, and infectious diseases. My little body can no longer adjust to weather changes, the lack of food and medicine, and the infrahuman conditions we live under. Finding formula and diapers is a difficult and expensive task. Many children around us have lost their lives, and I fear the same fate for myself and my siblings.

We dream of a warm bed, sufficient food, and safety. I implore you to help us escape this death situation. My parents have done everything to protect us, but now we need your assistance to leave Gaza and find the safety we so much need and deserve.

Additionally, my grandpa is critically ill with cancer, and my aunt also needs urgent medical treatment abroad.

My name is Lou and I am a Spanish citizen. Together with a group of volunteers, we are trying to help baby Misk's family.

Please help us collect the application fees and travel costs for five people as the first goal.

In order to facilitate the evacuation of Misk's family to Egypt, we are setting up a GoFundMe campaign to raise €70,000. The following is the distribution of funds:

• Basic meals, water, and medecine in light of the outrageous prices

• Passport fees and permits to leave Gaza

• Crossing fees at the Egypt-Gaza border.

• Basic needs for the family in Egypt, including housing, food, medecine and other basic necessities

Additionally, we need to cover GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9% plus $0.30 per donation).

We will use the funds raised in a transparent and efficient way to ensure that every dollar goes where it's needed.

“Hola, soy bebé Misk. Nací prematura en Gaza, Palestina, el 20 de abril de 2024. Mi madre tuvo que someterse a una cesárea sin anestesia ni calmantes en el Hospital Al Awda.

El hospital fue bombardeado mientras yo llegaba al mundo. Si no hubiera sido por la misericordia de Dios, mi madre y yo no estaríamos vivas.✨

Dos días después de mi nacimiento, nos despertamos con el sonido de fuertes explosiones. Tuvimos que salir de nuestra casa que finalmente acabó siendo destruida. Me he convertido en una bebé sin hogar antes de haber tenido la oportunidad de tener uno.

Cuando tenía solo 2 semanas, fuimos desplazados nuevamente después de una noche sangrienta de bombardeos indiscriminados, asedio violento y disparos de tanques. Mientras huíamos, lloraba mucho en los brazos de mi madre, que tuvo que correr largas distancias para poder mantenerme a salvo.

La constante lucha por la supervivencia no ha terminado. Ahora nos refugiamos en una pequeña tienda de campaña, expuestos a temperaturas extremas, insectos peligrosos y enfermedades infecciosas.

Mi pequeño cuerpo no puede tolerar el cambio del tiempo, la falta de comida y medicamentos, ni las condiciones infrahumanas en las que vivimos. Encontrar fórmula y pañales es una tarea difícil y costosa. Muchos niños a nuestro alrededor han perdido la vida, y temo el mismo destino para mí y mis hermanos.

Soñamos con una cama cálida, comida suficiente y paz. Te suplico que nos ayudes a escapar de esta situación de muerte. Mis padres ya están haciendo todo lo posible para protegernos, pero ahora necesitamos tu ayuda para salir de Gaza y encontrar la seguridad que tanto necesitamos y merecemos.

A través de tu apoyo, puedes salvar las vidas de nuestra familia.

Además, mi abuelo está gravemente enfermo de cáncer, y mi tía también necesita tratamiento médico urgente en el extranjero.
