I'm 18 years old and I'm the founder of Help4Homeless, a small charity based in Peterborough.

Help4Homeless originally started after I saw a man sleeping rough under a local bridge and asked myself a simple question: what can I actually do to help?

That question became Help4Homeless.

Over the past few months, Help4Homeless has been quiet. This winter, we're changing that. We're coming back with our biggest campaign yet.

Our goal is to provide at least 100 Winter Wellbeing Packs to people experiencing homelessness and hardship across Peterborough.

Each pack costs around £5 and contains simple but important essentials such as warm socks, hygiene items, snacks, hot chocolate, hand warmers, plasters and other useful items for somebody facing the winter outside.

£5 = 1 complete Winter Wellbeing Pack.

£25 could provide 5 packs.

£50 could provide 10 packs.

£100 could provide 20 packs.

These aren't huge things, but when you're sleeping rough on a cold winter night, something as simple as a clean pair of warm socks, something to eat or a hot drink can matter.

We're aiming to raise £1,500. Reaching that target would allow us to fund our initial 100 packs and then do even more throughout the winter, including purchasing additional essentials as they're needed and supporting the costs of getting help where it needs to go.

We'll be sharing updates throughout the campaign so you can see donations coming in, packs being prepared and the difference your support is making.

We're also using this winter to properly bring Help4Homeless back into the community. We'll be welcoming new volunteers, growing our team, working with local organisations and businesses, and making sure the work doesn't stop when winter ends.

If you can give £5, you've helped us provide an entire pack.

If you can't donate, simply sharing this fundraiser could put it in front of somebody who can.

Peterborough is our community. People experiencing homelessness should not be invisible within it.

Thank you for supporting Help4Homeless and helping us make this winter a little warmer for somebody who needs it.
