Help Zoë Dacey and Dina Heal Breast Cancer

Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, Dacey and Zoë have been best friends since birth. Zoë is now a second mom and favorite auntie to Dacey's daughter Ava, and a sister to Dacey's husband, Adam. She regularly visits Phoenix to support the family and has been indispensable in times of transition. In June 2023, Dacey was diagnosed with breast cancer and will be starting chemotherapy this month followed by a double mastectomy and some radiation for good measure. The prognosis is good but it will be a very difficult year for her and her family, and Zoë has agreed to help out.

In July 2023, Zoë's beautiful partner, Dina, was also diagnosed with breast cancer. She too will face a difficult year ahead, with Zoë by her side, and her prognosis is also good.

If you know Zoë, you know she's the best caretaker there is. This year she will be traveling back and forth between Salt Spring Island and Phoenix doing her best to help both sides of her family through treatment.

Our goal in raising these funds is to cover Zoë's expenses so she can take time off and travel back and forth to support Dacey and Dina through the surgeries and recovery process. If you are able to contribute financially to this plan, it would be the best possible way for you to help both families in the most meaningful and practical way.
