My name is Zenobia, and just a few months ago, I made the hardest but most necessary decision of my life: to leave Virginia and move to Kerrville, Texas with my three children, escaping years of abuse at the hands of their father. We came here with little more than courage, hope, and the belief that starting over was possible.

We were just beginning to rebuild our lives—piece by piece, moment by moment. But then the floods came.

Everything we had managed to gather since our arrival was lost. Clothes, beds, school supplies, basic essentials… all swept away. We didn’t have much to begin with, and now we’re left with nothing but each other.

This GoFundMe was created in a time of heartbreak, but also in a moment of hope. We are determined to start again—again. With your help, we can secure basic necessities like food, clothing, school items, and hopefully a safe, stable place to live while we get back on our feet.
