Update: Zane is expected to be in the hospital at least another three weeks. He's been through so much and is fighting through it all. He is our hero. My heart goes out to my grandson, Zane, who has been in Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh since January 17th. He was admitted with a fever and congestion, and the doctors have determined that he has a severe case of rhinovirus. Unfortunately, his lab results have also raised concerns about an autoimmune disease. While the medical team is still working to identify the specific condition, they have narrowed it down to two serious possibilities. Zane is likely to be in the hospital for at least a few more weeks as they continue to seek answers.

During this challenging time, I want to do everything I can to support his parents. They’re facing significant challenges with work as they focus on Zane’s care, and I know that the mounting bills and hospital expenses are adding extra stress. I hope to help them in any way possible as they navigate this difficult journey. Any help is appreciated as well as lots of prayers. Zane has a long road ahead but he is a fighter!
