Help Zane Bring Theatre to Local Elementary Schools
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Zane Zangwill, and I’m a rising high school senior passionate about sharing the magic of live performance with younger audiences. Next school year, I will be organizing a Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) project: a fully-staged, family-friendly one-act musical that will tour local elementary schools. The goal is to inspire kids, spark creativity, and make the arts more accessible, all while giving student performers a meaningful way to give back to their community.
This project is completely student-led: I’ll be directing, choreographing, music directing, and organizing everything with the help of a dedicated cast and crew from our high school Thespian Honor Society. We’ll rehearse in the fall and tour the performances throughout the spring.
But in order to bring this show to life, we need your help! The money we raise will go directly toward:
- Purchasing performance rights for the show
- Costumes, props, and set pieces
- Transportation for our touring performances
- Any other necessary production costs
Why is this important? Many local elementary schools don’t have the funding or resources for arts programming, especially live theatre. By taking this show directly to them, we’re helping to fill that gap, encourage imagination, and maybe even spark a lifelong love of the arts.
Any donation, big or small, makes a huge difference. Thank you for supporting student theatre and helping us make a lasting impact in our community!
