Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for your support during a really difficult time for my sister and her kids Jayson and Mason, and family friend Barb. Today (4/25/25), their apartment was struck by lightning, causing a severe electrical fire. Thankfully, they are all safe, but the fire caused extensive damage to their home and belongings.

They lost their clothes, personal items, and essentials due to the fire and smoke damage. We’re raising funds to help them recover— helping them buy clothes and necessities as they rebuild their lives.

Hoy les escribo para pedir su apoyo en un momento muy difícil para mi hermana, hijos Jayson and Mason, y amiga Brab. Recientemente, su apartamento fue alcanzado por un rayo, provocando un fuerte incendio eléctrico. Gracias a Dios, todos están a salvo, pero el fuego causó grandes daños en su hogar y en sus pertenencias.

Perdieron su ropa, artículos personales y otros elementos esenciales debido al daño del fuego y del humo. Estamos recaudando fondos para ayudarles a recuperarse — cubriendo los gastos por los daños del incendio y comprándoles ropa y lo que necesiten para empezar de nuevo.
