The Family Repertory Company, in partnership with Youth Theatre Interactions, is starting this fundraiser to help YTI stay open; as it continues to build back in The Yonkers community.
Who is YTI:
Youth Theatre Interactions (YTI) in Yonkers, NY! We offer performing & creative arts training for youth aged 5–15 fostering confidence, discipline, and creativity through drama, dance, music and visual art. Interactions include collaborative, safe, and supportive rehearsals, workshops, and performances that encourage teamwork, artistic growth, and community engagement.
Key Aspects of YTI Interactions:
Performance Training: Instruction covers acting, dance, and music, including specialized workshops like up-cycling for costume design.
Developmental Focus: Programs are designed to build confidence, critical thinking, and social skills in a safe environment.
Community Involvement: Activities often include annual recitals, community, and outreach initiatives.
Professional Environment: Staff focuses on nurturing artistic talent while maintaining a respectful, structured atmosphere.
Inclusivity: YTI aims to provide opportunities for all, including underserved youth.
January 1st 2025, The Family Repertory Company officially became a part of YTI, bring our artistic expertise to the underserved youth of Yonkers, other parts of Westchester and The Bronx. We were a program looking for a home and YTI had a home looking for a program. Historically, YTI has been one of the most recognized youth programs in Westchester, but unfortunately suffered the scourge of COVID-19. Since coming on board in January, we have held a Spring Break Camp, Summer Camp and are currently running our After School and Winter Break Camp 1 & 2. We have been growing back, but we have recently been met with funding challenges due to the lack of funding for the arts. The Family is reaching out to you to help keep this program alive; as we are faced with the challenges of our bills and equipment needed for the center as well as keeping up with our payroll for our professionally trained staff!
Any donation counts and for the upcoming holiday, a $5 donation will get you a Heart ❤️ on our window with your name saying "Have A Heart! Support The Arts!" And if you are unable to donate, please share with anyone that you know that is willing to support the his great program.
We also offer adult workshops. If you Donate $100 or more, we will be happy to accommodate you for a one time free workshop of your choice:
